I can see I need to start watching my verbiage I use with DS. Today he had his first eye exam, and we got him a pair of glasses. He looks soooooooooooooooo cute!! :teeth: Any way, the word "beautiful" slipped out of my mouth somehow. I said he looks beautiful. He doesn't like that and says that's a word for girls. Okay...you look cute! He was okay with that.

Then at dinner I tried to find other adjectives to make him feel good about the glasses. Handsome, cute, mature, intellectual. He wanted to know what intellectual meant. I said...smart. He said...I'm a nerd? :scared1: NO! That's not what I said. He went on with this for about 5 minutes. I told him I knew a couple nerds as a kid, and for sure DS is not one.

Geez! Now I have to watch each individual word I use with him!?

Oh! During dinner I was mentioning to him that two ladies besides me thought he looks good in them. They both work in Lenscrafters where we got them. DS said...they have to tell me they like them because they're supposed to sell them. :earseek: I said...No, the lady who helped him try different pairs on told him when there was a pair she didn't think looked nice on him. The other was the lady when we picked them up. She thought they looked good on him. :) He's too much lately!!

LOL! Welcome to my life. :hyper:

Harry Potter isn't a nerd, and he wears glasses! In fact, he made glasses cool! :teeth:
