Kids/Adult Buffet Question

Hi there. We just booked our first family Disney World trip for May (yahoo!). We got the Dining Plan and I'm wondering about something.

Since DD is 2.5 and DS is 1, and they can share food off of our plates - if we are at a buffet (we have 2 character meals books, one lunch buffet and one breakfast buffet) and there are certain adult items and kid items, am I allowed to put some of the kid items on my plate so that my kids can eat that stuff? Or am I onl allowed to fill it up with adult items, and would have to pay extra for the kids to eat from the kid selections?

Sorry if that was confusing.
Thanks for any help!

At a buffet there is no restriction regarding what anyone may eat. Some of them may put the more "kid friendly" items together, but that's to make it easy to find them, not to restrict kids to that section.

And according to most reports, since your children are under 3, they eat free, and you can fix plates for them and get anything off the buffet for them that you want to give them.

Our DD was 2.5 on her first trip in 2009 and we did several Buffets and we prepared a small plate at each meal and we were not charged. She also had milk with each meal and we were not charged extra for it. The staff all were very helpful and friendly to her.
