At cruise time (5/27/06) we will have DD8, DD7, DS4. Will there be any kids club activities they can do together? Younger two are fine but the oldest has stated that she doesn't like the clubs. (Our fault, on first cruise we didn't use clubs at all until end of cruise and by that time she was the outsider as bonds had already formed among the kids in the club.) Just wondering if she really balks at the clubs will DW and I will have an opportunity for some relaxing or a show alone. ie do the have movie night were my 3 can sit together?

You can request to move the 8yo down to the Club instead of the Lab, but I think they are usually better in the right age group.

I would recommend what another poster, Kcashner, says is the rule in their family. The kids have to go to ONE activity each day to allow Mom and Dad some "adult" time. The family goes over the Navigators each night and the kids select when they want to go to the club/lab the next day..main restriction is that they must all be in the activities at the same time and they MUST go to ONE activity. More is OK but ONE is minimum.

This sounds like a reasonable solution. The kids vacation won't be ruined if they don't "LOVE" the activity for a couple of hours and the adults will definitely be saner as the time goes by.

Another suggestion is to check out the cruise meets for your trip and see if there is another girl she could begin to correspond with. Then she would have a ready made friend for the cruise.

Have a great time.
