Kids 3–9 stay, play and dine for FREE

I got this pin code offer in snail mail today. It was my first pin and we've gone 1-3 times a year for the last 9 years. I am trying to talk DH into taking advantage of the savings!:thumbsup2

I just got this deal the other day, but wasn't going in the summer. Well, now it looks like we'll be there 2 days in June, wonder i it will work for just 1 night?

Has anyone booked it for just one night? I know they advertise the 4 night/5 day but what is the actual minimum?

I booked this yesterday for 5 nights - 1 adult and 3 kids ages 4,7 and 9 - I cannot believe how little this trip is going to cost me :cool1: We are staying in a value as this wasn't a planned trip and I want to do it as cheap as I can.

Good for you! This deal is perfect for you!! You sound like me - I just used this offer on our April trip - 1 adult and three kids under 9, in a value, and it saved us a lot! I did upgrade it to deluxe dining, though, so paid deluxe for myself and guess it added $10 per day to each kid. But WELL worth it! I think when I did my math, it saved us $777 for our 5 night stay!

now am crossing my fingers that this same deal is running in late November when we go back - and that somehow I can get the pin!!!

I got the pin too and called for the heck of it even though we can't afford to go this year.

2 adults, 3 kids (9, 8, and 5) going for 6 nights, 7 days at POR (wish we could do value, but not possible with 5) $2361.70 for June 28-July 4

If we dropped it down to 4 nights, 5 days June 28-July 2- $1761.46.

Hello everyone!

How do you get a pin code? Is there something special I need to do?

Thanks,
Pixie Duster:cutie:

I got one in the mail today :woohoo:We always plan to go in the fall so I don't know if I can take the weather in the summer time....not much advance warning either...the last date is 8/8/09....HMMMMM what to do.

I just got one in the mail today and at first I was excited to get a postcard then got a little miffed. My kids are 11 & 13 so it does us no good. Why waste the postage?:sad2: At least we are booked with the 4/7

Just got the same post card and I'm on hold for a price quote. As of now I have the 4/3 deal. Since its only me and 2 kids under 9 staying at a value my calculation is that its around 100$ more with this plan but dinning will be included as oppose to the package I have now that does not have dinning.
Lets keep our fingers crossed:goodvibes

I just received the 3-9 stay, play & dine offer, too! Seems like a great deal for us with a 6 yo and 8 yo. We weren't planning a trip this year, but this may be too good to pass up (and I DO want to go back before we would have to purchase an adult ticket for the oldest).

However, I'm wondering about the fact that the packages always seem to include one fewer hotel night than park day. So that means that you go to the park on both of your travel days, right? So you are essentially losing part of the first and last park day, it seems to me. What does everyone here do with these types of packages? Do you purchase additional hotel nights, or just use the package as-is and go to the park on your first and last travel days?

I just got the pin today and applied it to my package in July. I previously had the 4/3 deal (actually 4/2 because we were only going for 6 days) and switched it to the kids eat, play, dine for free and we saved another $400! :yay:

Hi, did you already have the dining plan or add it on when you got the code? We are going in July too and don't have the dining plan so I wasn't sure if it would save us any money. Thanks!! :goodvibes

I got the flyer in the mail today! Too bad I don't have kids 3 - 9 anymore!!!

I think they just use that as an example. I would think you could change the ticket for how many days you want.... not sure what the minimuns are. I know when they advertise "free dining" or other deals they do the same thing, and you don't have to follow the ticket thing as they say.

In the past we didn't ever buy tickets for our arrival or departure day. This year we're getting and AP so that isn't an issue... but I think they'll accomodate your ticket requests when you call. Try it!:goodvibes

I also still want to know if anyone has found out what the "minimum" stay is. It can't be 4 nights... can it? If it can be done in 1 or 2 days I'd do it before we check in to DVC and upgrade our tickets to APs.

anyone???:confused3

Does anyone have an idea if the kids tickets are upgradable since there "free"?
TIA

I had no problem adding days to my kids' tickets when we had this deal for earlier in the month. But the family traveling with us had a really tough time adding days to the tickets for her kids, same deal, and they wouldn't let her do it for some reason, something about them being complimentary.

Wow this would almost apply to us - too bad we're already booked and the likelihood of receiving a code is minimal. At any cost, we're already AP holders and got our room (ASMo) for $289.00 for the week and since we don't need tickets I guess it works out better for us that we don't use this code.

After going so often to WDW and using computer software to determine our food costs over the last 5 trips it averages about $450 to $500 for 7 to 10 day trips. That's eating at all Disney property restaurants ( i.e. Le Cellier, Garden Grill, Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, Hollywood & Vine, etc ) with myself, DW and DD (now 4 1/2):goodvibes.

If you go 2 or more times a year to WDW you may want to consider AP's and adding the Tables In Wonderland card. This is our first full year as AP holders and the savings has been phenomenal.

Best of luck to those needing this code and we will see all of DIS'ers heading out in mid-May.:thumbsup2

Now back to getting my ADR's finalized.......:scared:

You can upgrade, but they charge you the difference. I called about adding the water option and it would be an extra $50.00 for adults and $50 upgrade fee for each child.
