Well, for example for the two of us a 7 day Alaskan cruise from Vancouver to Alaska and back is $2832. That is everything but gratuities and alcohol shipboard.

This is their website. I sent for the planning DVD. I am so brainwashed by Disney.

:thanks: Where does it sail out of, Los Angeles or do you need to get to Vancouver? I haven't been on a cruise in years but that sounds kind of spendy but hey, it's Disney and you get what you pay for.

While Disney is expensive in general, I always feel like I've got my money's worth. Michael says not only do I drink the kool-aid, I take body shots of it. :lmao:

It leaves out of Vancouver. I am drawn in by Disney like a moth to the flame. But, to go basically the same cruise on Royal Caribbean it is over $1000 cheaper. Wow. That is a huge difference.

:ccat: 521 days until WDW!!! :ccat:

:goofy: 341 days until ADRs!!! :goofy:

:donald: 189 days until DVC reservation!!! :donald:

The kids on the bus in October 2009 on the way to Disneyland. Love Joshua's long hair. :cutie:

As far as I can tell it's the Disney theming. I am leaning towards the Royal Caribbean. They have a land/sea package that really looks amazing to me.

What's the itinerary? Would you fly or drive to Vancouver? I haven't a clue how far it is from No Cal.

We would fly but, I was still looking lastnight and I found a Princess cruise that leaves from San Francisco. That is absolutely perfect. We are 45 miles from San Francisco. It doesn't get any better than that.

:thumbsup2 Exactly. Disney is great but very hard to justify a less expensive, exact same destinations cruise for a lot less. Having said that, one of these days I'd love to do a land/sea vacation that goes to Castaway Cay; somewhere no other cruise line can take you.

Things are going really good here. :goodvibes My solo trip is still a go though no body here wants to go. If I can save my money this summer dh says I can go.

:goodvibes There are always tons of meets, have you thought about just you and meeting up with people?

Oh I still would love to take a Disney cruise. Don't get me wrong.:rotfl: I am Disney born and Disney bred.

Me too! Michael says next October is the last Disney for a while. :lmao: If he had a dollar for every time he said that!

Poor guy. Scotty always says the same thing and then he enables me. Silly man.

:rotfl: We are all married to the same guy :rotfl2:

I swear. He says to me last year that we need to go somewhere else this year for vacation and a few weeks ago he suggested a DLR trip this summer. I was all ready for it until everything with my sister.
