We are considering staying at Poly (trying to ignore the price ;) ) because of the ease of monorail use with a little one.

I have visited the Poly for dinner in the past but I never paid too much attention to the pool areas. Does the pool have a kiddie area where my 18 month old can get in the water?

Thanks!

I think they have just a zero entry in the pool. I'm not sure if they have a separate kiddie pool.

Have you considered staying at the Wilderness Lodge? The boat ride to MK is just about as convenient (IMHO) as the monorail. The rooms are smaller than the Poly, but the price is lower.

There is no dedicated kiddie pool at the Poly. They have a zero entry pol, where the little one could play in on the edge there. There is a place where they have thw ater comng up from the ground, like the water foutains in Epcot for little ones. There is a dedicated kiddie pool at WL, and it's about 1 - 1 1/2 ft deep. My kids LOVE that pool!!!!

The Polynesian pool is great. Zero-entry is awesome when you have little ones. My youngest was 18mths last summer during our stay at the Polynesian. She loves to play around in the pool and she could go out as far as she was comfortable. I have two older kids so I enjoy that we all can swim in the same pool. The water play area is right next to the pool. The beach is just a sidewalk away. One of our favorite pool acitivies is watching the MK fireworks while we are swimming at night:D
