Kidcot... just for kids?

Okay, so one of the things I want to do at EPCOT is grab one of those cute Duffy fans and have fun at the Kidcot stations. My eight year-old niece will be there, so I can use her as an excuse, but realistically... how many adults do you see doing Kidcot? I know technically it's all ages, but I get pretty shy and stuff so I thought I'd ask if anyone here has done it before. Do you get weird looks?

I can always say that I'm just using Duffy as a fan... but that'd be a lie. :goodvibes

We've done it as two adults. While the cast members were totally nice about it, some parents clearly thought we shouldn't be coloring a Duffy and getting our stamps. We had fun with it and we both still have our Duffy's as a memento.

I've done it twice whilst we've been walking around World Showcase. I didn't colour my Duffy there (I'm pretty fussy about using decent pens and the correct colours!) but the CMs were very nice and I like both my Duffy souvenirs. I like to date them, so I remember when I toured the World!

I have never thought about doing the coloring! It sounds like fun. I have thought about buying the passport and getting it stamped. Has anyone done that?

We went a few years ago on my birthday and got a Passport and had the cast members sign it and I took a picture in each country. As I had on my birthday button, most wrote Happy Birthday in their language. While I did use some of the stamps that you get with the Passport, I also cut up some of the pictures I took and put these in the Passport on the pages that corresponded with the countries.

Just as an FYI - I was in my late 40's when I did this, but this would be a great idea for either a child or an adult.

That just sounds like so much fun! It's the type of experience I don't normally take the time to do in Epcot. I think I'm going to do it next time. Thanks for sharing!

I really enjoyed doing the passport when I went. Didn't do the bear, but talked to CM's in all the countries and had fun finding the locations and doing the non-coloring activities. Really made a nice souvenir.

Edit (My apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I looked at the last date and thought it was today.)
