What should. I request to see giraffes for a. Savanna view room ?

I'm not an expert but we saw giraffes all the time from the villas we've had on the Sunset savanna. The lower the room the better the view.

Kidani Village faces 2 Savannas. The Sunset has Giraffes, the Pembe does not.

I know I can probably look this up, but would like opinions from someone who has actually stayed there. How many floors are there at the Kidani? Of those, which floor would be best for viewing the animals (not just giraffes)? TIA.

Lobby level floor would be my recommendation.

Here's a second yes for the lobby floor. We stayed on the sunset davanna when we were there and saw lots and lots of animals from our balcony almost all times of the day. Don't remember our room number, but we were about half way between the lobby and the end of the hallway.

Lobby level at Kidani Village is on the 2nd floor, the 3rd floor also has great views of the animals. The fifth floor IMO is the worst because the animals will often hang around under the trees for shade and the fifth looks down at the top of the trees so you often think there aren't any animals when there are lots of them.

Another vote for 2nd or 3rd floor. Giraffes came to sleep under our 2nd floor balcony every night just after sunset. Email or chat with MS to find out how best to word your request. As another previous poster mentioned, you want Sunset savanna if you want to see giraffes.

Kidani has rooms on four floors, two through five. On the first/ground floor is the under-building parking garage and in the center, the restaurant. The only time I went to Kidani, I requested lobby floor near bus stop. I got neither, and was as far away as possible. I'm terrified about our next visit. We're only returning because the grandchildren really wanted to stay there.

I know exactly what you mean when it comes to unfulfilled requests. I had this happen to us when I rented points to stay at OKW. I requested Miller's Rd so that we could be closer to the main pool. We were assigned a villa towards the south end. I requested a quiet location. Our villa was right next to one of the main roads where buses & other vehicles were running well into the night. I requested a decent view (water or something I can't remember). Our view consisted of leaves from a tree and some bushes. We didn't let it bother us, but I can't help but wonder how these assignments are made. I can totally understand that I shouldn't expect to have all 3 requests fulfilled, but zero out of 3?
