Kidani Village

Hi all. I'll be staying at Kidani Village for the first time this summer and was wondering how long of a walk it is from the guest rooms to the theme park bus stops. based on some of the pictures i've seen it looks like if you're on one end of the resort you could have quite a long walk.

We stayed there last summer. We requested and received a room near the lobby because DH had had knee surgery. It was a quick trip to the bus area - it's right outside the lobby. I walked all the way to the other end of our floor one day out of curiosity and it was quite a distance. I would request a room near the lobby- it was very quiet. We loved this resort. Very relaxing and beautiful.

If you had the room on the very end, the walk could be 5 minutes to the bus stop. We walked from the Kidani lobby to the Jambo lobby in 7 minutes and the resort is not as long as that walk. The bus stop sits near the lobby, in the middle of the resort.

The room we had in September was about a 10 minute walk to the bus-stop. Didn't bother me in the slightest. I always think (unless you are physically incapacitated in some way) that if you don't like to walk then a Disney holiday is probably not for you. Kidani Village is fab - have a great holiday

we timed the lobby to our room in march - 12 minutes - we were pretty far back.

when i stay there in 2 weeks---i'm asking for a room close to the lobby.

I guess I must be a pretty fast walker. I can walk from the Boardwalk resort to Hollywood Studios in 12 minutes. So, it seems pretty amazing to me that it would take 12 minutes to walk from the lobby of Kidani Village to any room at the resort.

if you don't like to walk then a Disney holiday is probably not for you.
