It is a very nice pool, though it can be a bit crowded at times. The link above has pictures. The play area is in the pool area.

my kids love it!!!! the slide is great, the zero entry area is awesome, separate kid splash park is amazing..............we love it!!!

Hey i dont know because i've never been there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i cant wait to go with u and now u have a coment!!!!!!!!!!!Hahahahahaha

WE LOVE the pool at Kidani!!! There's lots of chairs for relaxing, a great bar, fun play areas for kids, fun pool parties, and it's got great lighting for late night swimming.

The pool at Kidani was one of my family's favorite things from our big family trip in April. Our best afternoon was the one all 15 of us spent relaxing by the pool. Even though we were there at a very crowded time (before Easter week), we were able to get chairs all together near the zero entry.

The older kids LOVED the slide. The school aged kids LOVED the kiddie play area. The littlest kids LOVED the zero entry access to the pool because it was very non-threatening. The adults LOVED the bar and the yummy drinks. :rotfl:

Part of our group actually stayed longer at the pool and ordered dinner through the pool bar and watched the movie they showed that night. They couldn't stop raving about it.

I think you will love the pool at Kidani!

It's definitely my favorite pool on Disney property! I could go on that slide over and over again. I've been to Kidani twice already and both times, all of the adults in our group couldn't get enough of that slide...it's addicting.

The play area is also really fun. We had a 2 year old with us when we went in May and she really got a kick out of everything there. We spent a lot of time in that area because she had such a great time.

Kidani's pool is our favorite of all the pools. Not just for the pool itself, but for the whole pool area/atmosphere. There is a dance party in the afternoon for the kids. Also love that the savannah is right there and you can watch the animals while your taking a break from swimming.

This has been my favorite pool so far.If you have children going with you the play area is a bonus that will keep them busy a long time. It's very easy to keep an eye on them in the main pool as well.

We just got back a few days ago. Aside from the pool at the Poly and Beach club this was one of our favorites! The kids pool area is a must even for adults...so much fun. The hot tub above the pool is nice for just adults!

My grandchildern loved the Kidani pool. I can't recall how many times they went down the slide. The play area is nice too for younger children.:yay:

we just got back from a trip with our 2yo. We adored the pool. So much so, that we spent a few days just at the pool--and he still wakes up and asks to go to the water playground.

:) This was the first trip in May I have ever taken and while DH stayed in the room to play wit his new Ipad, I went to the pool alone. The wonderful African music was playing, water cool and comfy, plenty of chairs, plenty of towels. Toward the second half of the week it was much more crowded. We were there the first week of May.

I loved, loved, loved the Lava Smootie drink (non alcoholic). It was much better than the one I had with alcohol (Southern Sunrise, I think).

I also watched Monsters, Inc at the pool one night and that was just wonderful and relaxing. Wished I had done some popcorn in Microwave and brought it down with me. Again DH was doing his thing in the room. We really didn't spend that much time apart but it wasn't an all parks and no room time kinda trip. DH said it was his fav trip thus far. :thumbsup2

Kidani Village has a really nice pool, cool slide and hot tubs as well. We go in October, and it has never been overly crowded. Our daughter enjoys the kids area as well with the water guns and all the other stuff. We also walk over to Jambo house and use that pool. The zero entry on both pools is a great feature!

Enjoy your trip - you've got me thinking about ours coming up in August. We had booked our home resort (SSR), but our daughter really wanted to go back to AKV, and we had no problem with availability. I think AKV has become our go to resort - I however was hoping for BWV's or BC, but you have to go where the kids want! :)
