we keep changing our minds on where we’d like to stay next August with the small handful of DVC points we are borrowing from my parents. Kidani Village is one of their home resorts but we’ve never been. I understand it’s a little bit of a walk from the studio rooms to transportation. Is this walk indoors (a/c) or outdoors (August heat)? Just how doable/miserable is it with two little ones in strollers?

We've stayed at Kidani several times. On our last trip, we needed to switch rooms (both studios) due to availability issues. Our first studio was less than a two-minute walk to the bus stop. Our second studio room was all the way down the hallway and took almost 10 minutes to get to the bus stop.

Was this down an interior air conditioned hallway? We are okay with that - we are trying to avoid walking a half a mile outdoors.

All the hallways are interior and airconditioned. While we would always prefer a room close to the lobby/transportation, the long walk wasn't that bad.
