Kidani standard room location - map?

I have one for Jambo House but not for Kidani. At Kidani, the Standard View rooms face the pool area, roadways and parking areas. In addition, some Savanna View rooms that have partially-obscured or limited views have been (or are being) reclassified as Standard View.

Glad to hear they are being reclassified, nothing worse than spending those extra points and having a less than spectacular view.
Hoping to switch a few days from our home BWV to Kidani at the 7 month mark and for us, it's all about the view:lovestruc

It does not have room type locations but it is a map, hope it helps!

Thanks! Does anyone know if the rooms just to the left (as you look at the pic) of the pool (the 7934-7941 rooms etc.) are standard rooms? I know I've read somewhere here that some rooms were recategorized from Savana to standard because they only have a partial Savana view. Are these the ones? TIA :goodvibes

Nearly all of the building segments are two sided, meaning that there are rooms which face inward toward the savanna and rooms that face outward, mostly toward the parking lot or pool.

Most of the segments to the right of the lobby have parking lot views. To the left of the lobby, the first 3 or 4 segments have parking lot / pool views. The next segment or two overlook the Pembe savanna on the outside. Then you come to a section where the newer standard view rooms exist. Tahe is around the 7652-7659 area. The savanna fence is so close to the building that there really isnt room for animal grazing.

Overall I think the SV breakdown goes something like this:
65% parking lot
25% pool (with parking lot also visible)
10% obstructed savanna

Just to let you know, i was worried about what view i would have on my trip as i booked a standard view studio. I arrived March 28th, i had room 7507 which is on the 5th floor same section as the community hall on the map, overlooking the entrance to the front of the resort....it was very pretty even though it wasn't savannah view...it really was nice, the parking is under the building on what would be the first floor...so it really wasn't a parking lot , you could see the bus stop also, it wasn't what i expected and was actually very nice....i was worried because i really wanted to buy at BWV , but with the incentives at AKL i bought here instead....i do not regret it anymore...i LOVE this resort! there are a lot of places you can go to view the animals around the resort so a savannah view is really not necessary.

We just got back from Kidani Tuesday and had a standard view - 1 bedroom. We had room 7223 and although it overlooked the bus stop, parking lot, we loved it...so close to the lobby that I let the my dd and dnephew go to the lobby by themselves to fill the mugs, look at the animals, shop - right near the gameroom and community hall too. My parents were in 7215 (or 7219??) standard studio and they loved the room too and it was even closer to the lobby. The pool was a quick walk to the lobby and out the door to the right - 3 minutes at the most. I would def. get a standard view again and save the points. Instead of looking out our balcony at the animals, we went to the firepit and the location at the pool and talked with the guides there and learned ALOT more than hanging in the room. We loved it and can't wait to go back again.

Where can I find the map for Jambo House? TIA

I marked up this drawing of Jambo House to show where the different booking categories are located.

Green: Value rooms
Yellow: Standard View rooms (before the reclassification)
Pink: Concierge rooms (6th floor only)
Orange blobs: Grand Villas
Everything else: Savanna View (and rooms reclassified as Std View)
