Kidani Pool

I haven't been around much lately and I'm certain that this question probably has been answered alreaady. Is the pool/play area opening at the same time as Kidani?

I was wondering the same thing. We are booked for july, but if the pool is not open, we may consider changing our ressie to another resort.

As far as I know, DVC has not said anything one way or the other about the pool and restaurant. Those of us booked into Kidani in early May are certainly hoping that the pool will be open but I haven't seen or heard anything official.

I don't think Disney will ever go out on a limb and commit to the pool opening on May 1st. It's certainly a goal, but if something happens at the 11th hour which puts the pool behind (maintenance issues, part doesn't arrive, etc.), Disney's isn't going to let that delay the resort opening and relocate all of the guests.

Expect a few bumps for those who are planning to be May guests. But rest assured Disney will do everything in its power to have all resort services running from the get-go.

I hope that all is ready as well, but as has been said, anything can happen. I am just really looking forward to staying there in June. And the restaurant sounds great.
