Kidani Pool and Water temps in the summer!

Has anyone been to the Kidani Pool at AKV recently? My family and I are going in July and are wondering if the water was refreshing? This might sound like a crazy question, but when we were at VWL in the summer months the pool was so warm it wasn't even refreshing. Can anybody weight in on this? thanks so much!

We were at the Jambo House pool last August, and it was very nice. And refreshing! Didn't try Kidani though.
Did you try the WL courtyard pool while you were there? Any different then the WLV?

We have stayed at Kidani for our May/June trip every year since it opened. The pool water has never been warm to me...sometimes it's a little too cool for my tastes. My DH and 2 DSs have always commented on how great the pool felt during our afternoon pool time.

No, but we've experienced pool water being so warm it wasn't refreshing on several summer trips in July and August, various resorts, when the heat and humidity were brutal. It kind of depends on the weather, and pools with deeper water seemed more refreshing when we tried to find cold water by pool hopping during one DVC stay. Luckily not every summer trip is like that! I would think the kids play area at Kidani would be refreshing when really hot, the pool maybe not as its on the shallow side for the most part.

Thanks everyone for your comments. When we stayed at WL we only used the main pool and it was very warm.
