Kidani over BLT

After two trips each to our home resorts, we definitely prefer Kidani over BLT. We enjoyed the feeling of getting away from the parks that Kidani gave us. We always feel so "pressured" to jump on the monorail to Epcot or stroll over to Magic Kingdom when we are at BLT. Beautiful resort and we will be using it for our shorter Spring Break stays, but for us Kidani is King...

Disney has done an excellent job creating resorts that cater to all different tastes and each has it's own feel and great theming. Deciding on which ones are your favorite can be fun and challenging.

That's the reason that I constantly post that potential buyers try before they buy.

My husband prefers Kidani too. I really love BLT. Good thing we own DVC and have lots of choices!

We loved Kidani for for the same reason you did. When we switched over to BWV, we also felt pressured to go, go, go - it was very convienent to F&W. We are doing a split stay this March - THV/BCV, and I'm sure we'll feel the same. Once I'm done at the parks, I want to be away from them. We are excited to try BCV, but we also just want to try all the resorts to see where we'd like to purchase more points in the future. So far, it's either AKV or OKW, but we'll see what this trip brings.

That is why I love Kidani, the whole feeling of being somewhere else and the relaxed feel of the resort.

We agree with you! we own at BLT and have tried OKW, Kidani, BLT, and BWV. So far, Kidani is our favorite. We definitely want more points but would like to try more before we buy more points. i have a feeling that VWL is going to be the one that puts us over the edge for must have points. I feel that it may be between kidani and VWL. But my DH hasn't stayed at BLT yet. We had to do that trip with my DM as he couldn't leave work. We are doing a quick adults only trip next may and staying at our home.

We feel the same way! We just bought into DVC this past spring and our first trip was a split stay between BLT and Kidani. Loved the location of BLT but once we settled into our room we relaxed and finally felt like we were home. LOVE Kidani!
