I know the appliances in their kitchens, but what about the small things that mean so much, like a can opener. Is there a site or list somewhere that gives an inventory of contents of kitchen? We'll be in a 2 bedroom next week, and we will be filling up our first OL. Without a car at hand, I don't want to be caught short of a necessity, like the can opener or a pot holder, or a spatula. Also are there Bar-B-Q utensils anywhere?

I think you will find that all the basics of a well equipped kitchen are in the DVC resort kitchens.

Have fun cooking.

I'm packing a masher! Can't have Thanksgiving without mashed potatoes!

Thanks to smart aleck poster #2 I now have my answer. Never introduce your children to the disboards. I wouldn't have invited you to go, except for the three little people you are bringing.:dance3:

Not sure if this has changed, but as of our last trip, there were no non-stick skillets. Since about the only thing I actually cook in the room is breakfast and eggs and french toast cook much easier in non-stick skillets, I always pack a cheap or old one. Who wants to go through the effort of scrubbing pans!

Slightly off-topic -- I would love one of my kids to respond to a Disboard thread!

I was going to say you could have him, but actually he is a keeper. We ran away twice in the past nine months to WDW without spouses, siblings or offspring, and had a great time. MIAnnie

they say that my obsession with WDW is genetic. therefore not my fault
