Ok, I need a reality check! I am hoping to book a one bed at the 7 mnth stage at Kidani for August 2009..............am I deluding myself that there will be anything available?! I have the Beach Club as my second choice, although I am under no illusion that will be easy either, but would really love to try Kidani!
All opinions gratefully received!:cool1:

We really don't have enough experience with AKV Kidani to make a good prediction.

Based on the size of the Kidani Building (even considering only the first phase will be open in August 2009), the time you are going and the fact that you want a 1 bedroom, I'd say your chances of getting Kidani are better than they would be to get a 1 bedroom at BCV. I think you will get your Kidani reservation if you call as soon as the 7 month window opens.

Good luck!

I think your odds at either at the 7 month window are good. We've had good luck booking summer vacations at the 7 month window...we booked BCV 2BR this past July at the 7 month window and got it (including the dedicated 2 Q).

I would definitely make sure you are booking right at the 7 month window to give yourself the best chance.

Good luck! :)

Thank you so much for your positive responses...............I really had given it up as a lost cause, but now am feeling much more hopeful! :yay:
We have previously been lucky in getting HH at the 7 mnth in July and OKW at the 7 mnth lots of different times of the year.......just wondered with everyone wanting to try out kidani whether it wil be super booked up!

I should add that it probably matters what kind of villa you are hoping to book at Kidani. I think Savanna View will be the easiest due to the quantity of villas and higher point structure. Hard to predict if the Standard View at Kidani will be as much in high demand as the SV at BWV. :confused3

What makes this so difficult is that we have no idea how many rooms will be available to be booked on points at that time since that depends on the pace of sales at AKV. Even if every room in Kidani is open by your dates, if they expect that only half of them will have been declared into the condominium by that time, then only half of Kidani will available for booking with points. They declare Units as needed for sales. If sales are slow due to the economy, that will impact the number of rooms that can be booked on points.

I don't know how they estimate this 7/11 months in advance. But if they take a conservative approach then even if there is nothing available at 7 months, there is probably a good chance that a wait list will come through as more Units are declared closer to your travel dates.
