Today was DH 40 th birthday and also EMH so we were up early and waiting for bag check at 7.50 am. We were the 2nd family into the park and we headed for space mountain which certainly woke us up. In the 2 hours we rode space mountain 6 times, Buzz 4 times and managed all the rides in fantasyland it was brilliant having no queues. We also got a lovely picture of the castle
At 10 am we went back to our hotel for a very much needed breakfast. It was still really busy and we had to wait a few minutes for a table. After breakfast Pluto was in the hotel lobby so DH just had to meet him
We were back in the park about 11am and headed to frontierland. There was a queue for BTMRR and teh fastpass was working so we took advantage of it and collected a fastpass each. Mickeys winterwonderland was just getting ready to start so off we went to watch it. What a lovely show!! Then it was time to use our fastpasses so of we went to BTMRR, followed by POTC and Indianna Jones. Then we made our way to star tours and then watched the tam tams of Africa, another good show and a chance to warm up again. The queue for space mountain was only 5 mins so it seemed a shame not to ride it again. We then had a wander through the castle and I found the dragon for the 1st time
. We then wandered in all the shops on main street and caught the train and had a nice trip all the way round the park. We then just rode all our favourite rides for the rest of the day and got into position for candleabration about 6.30pm. How annoying are some people who turn up 2 mins before it starts and try and push their 2 little girls in to watch. Sorry but your not getting past me, the girls were both under 3 so were also going to need a parent with them so they weren't going to block my view!
The castle was soooo beautiful.
Afterwards we headed back to our room to have a rest and get ready to go out to Billy Bobs as that was where Hubby wanted to go and it was his birthday so he got to choose. We ate in Billy Bobs and it was quite nice and we enjoyed just being able to sit back and watch the dancing. We eventually made it to bed just before midnight so it was a very long day.
