Kick Start You Cruise Vacation Tasting

Has anyone done this? Just spotted it on the Disney Cruise Website and was curious about how people have found it. I haven't been able to find any info so wondering if this is extremely new.

We have done a few of them. We have one per day booked for our Alaskan cruise this summer

We have done the stem to stern wine tasting a few times. What I didn't know was they have a cognac tasting available. That would be really nice.

Thanks all. Its this particular one I'm hoping for some info on as done almost all the others and thought this would be something new to try but can't find any reviews. My booking window opens next week so was hoping to find out some decent info by then.

I haven't seen that one before either, our last cruise was Jan. 2019 and it wasn't offered then. I would rather do ones that offer all alcoholic drinks, not just 2. We're usually too busy on embark day to do things like tastings. I get the feeling they're trying to get more business at the juice bar, so they're offering this hoping people will then buy more juice drinks throughout the cruise.

It's a brand new offering but not interesting to me. Agree with @lklgoodman, this looks like marketing for the juice bar.

I just looked, it is available for my cruise in 3 weeks, but I'm not a big juice fan; I think I can just get a mimosa and save some of the $. I do want to do some tastings but all the ones I wanted were gone when I was booking (silver); hopefully next year when I go on the Fantasy as gold I can get a couple of those. I just have to "settle" for a mixology class this time.

Wife and I enjoyed the Stem to Stern Wine Tasting. Even received a pin for attending the tasting

We also did the Champagne Tasting. The staff presented a couple great ideas for serving champagne. No pin received with that class.

Was informed by the folks at the Champagne Tasting, only the Stem to Stern Wine Tasting give pins.

Wow, that's pricey! My Mojito tasting on the Magic last summer was only $20--for 5 alcoholic drinks!

Wow! That’s expensive. The mimosa and Bloody Mary are $4.75 every morning. That’s some pricey juice!!

Wow OK! Well that wasn't the price I was expecting! I feel I will be skipping this and going for my favorite Mixology instead. Thanks for the info though. As others have said I would have thought this would be cheaper as only two alcoholic drinks. I know smoothies aren't cheap but I just don't get the price

Someone beat me to it , but it is $38. Mixology is $25 each and last time we had 5 drinks! For two alcoholic drinks and three juices, it is a pass.

We were on the Fantasy May 18th sailing and no tastings were available before hand to book online by the time we booked but I saw people booking tastings once onboard. They were at guest service the same time I was and the CM was reading what was available so give it a try once you board.

I also have not seen the Kickstart option before but we have done many of the others. Mixology is our favorite...fun with a big group too!!

$38??? That is insane! Mixology only cost me $25 last cruise. For that price they should give you 5 free full size drink passes to use during the cruise.

I booked it when it came up this afternoon. Then after reading about it decided to cancel. Especially since its day 1 of the cruise.

Maybe if it was 5 mixed drinks? For the offering though and only a 30 min class I can't see it worth it.
