Hubby and I do this as the very last thing we do before we leave the park.

we made the mistake of doing it once mid-day...needless to say we had to leave the park. my denim "capris" stretched out to long pants they were so wet!

however - if it's a hot day - we risk it ..although wet underwear DOES suck! heheh

oh - and you're SUPPOSED to laugh at the people that get soaked! point and laugh even! trust me...people have laughed at us and we've laughed at others - it's like you are a family with these strangers!

I bought the 87 cent rain ponchos from Walmart that someone recommended for this ride.

DH and I can wear them, cover our camera etc with them or wrap our feet up in them.....lol

For 87 cents, we can toss them in the trash on the way out of the ride.

They are in the camping section of Walmart and they are very compact.

Or, you could easily tuck a couple plastic bags somewhere to use to cover your camera, feet etc.

No point in missing a fun ride because you don't want to get wet! Just have a plan.

24 days and counting.......I can't wait!

See...this is why these boards are so important. I have always heard of getting the ponchos for the natural rain bursts but never thought of them for this ride. That is a great idea because I must admit...having wet underwear doesn't sound too good.
