Its a nice size walk, about a mile maybe, unless it seemed that way because it was hot. Everyone we asked about where is JB's they would just say oh right on the next block. Sort of like tomorrow never comes LOL

Remember key West is a 2 X 4 island - it may seem like a mile but it really really isn't - it is walking distance and the blocks are short - Margaretville is on the corner of Fleming and Duval Street - did you know that once it was part of the only place conchs could shop - it was S & H Kress - in fact Margaretville is the half that was our only soda bar with American sandwiches in town - the bathroom and stairs area have not changed in all the years that I know - the girls biggest amitions when we were growing up - To work at Kress -another tidbit about Key West younger days------ I agree the weather is very hot and humid - but there is a lot of shade walking down so you really have to watch those little ones.

I'm positive they have a gift shop--in fact I have a student who's mom brought him at least 3 different Margaritaville Tshirts from a recent trip.

Easy walk, and a gift shop. The building is divided into two really - the gift shop and eatery have separate doors.

Just remember what time your dinner seating is if you decide to indulge in a cheeseburger in paradise.

We were starving last June when we came in from our kayaking adventure. So we decided to shower and head for Margaritaville - wisely we split a couple of orders since our onboard dinner was at 6 and we didn't want to miss that!
