We will be travelling with our college age daughters in an adjacent stateroom --not adjoining-- not enough DVC points for that, but I digress....

Can we get keys for the girls to get into our stateroom as well as their own? I am on the twelve step program for recovering world class overpackers and only want to take one of certain things for our family and sure as you're shootin' that one thing is going to be in the other cabin!!

My husband and I went to WDW for 4 days and we exceeded the 50# bag limit for Continental GOING there. I check-in lady was really a little rude! I don't want her to yell at me again. And I really don't want to waste valuable cruise money on luggage fee surcharges! I know I will really have to exercise some restraint in packing. And I hate to exercise....

Man....those fees are really getting high too..daughter had to pay $80 to take an extra bag...and that was a military transfer..they wouldn't even give an active duty person a break.

Yes, you can request keys without charging privileges for the other room in your traveling party. Our kids were across the hall from us and we had a key to their room.

Thanks for the info, gometros! Can you get those in the terminal or should I add that to the "To-Do" list on board?

They may be able to do it a the terminal but we got our keys to the other stateroom at Guest Services desk.

It's really no problem at Guest Services. If you get on the ship around 12, there is no line and they will take care of this. We did it on our last two cruises.

Is that the 50 bag limit or the 50-pound bag limit??? Drat! I just knew I was the world champion over-packer! :p

Actually, if I could get a list of those twelve-steps...I might be able to reform in time for our cruise. :D
