Hello
Has anyone done the Keys to the Kingdom Tour recently? We are taking the first tour of the day (8:30am) in Sept. Any feedback? Also does anyone know what time you eat lunch.... I am trying to decide what time to book a PS later on that day.
Thanks

DH and I are taking this tour in early Oct for the first time too. If you don't get any responses, do a search on this board and you will find a ton of threads devoted to this tour.

I have never read a negative review on this tour...so I'm really looking forward to it! Be sure to post your experience when you get back! :teeth:

Well it was not recently but we took the KTTK tour back in 2001 and we had a wonderful time. The tour was about 5-5 1/2 hours long so if you start at 8:30 I would imagine the tour would end for you right about 2:00. Lunch from what I remember was around 11:00-11:30. You pick out what you want before you leave for the tour and when you get to CHH your food is already waiting for you. :)

We took this tour last Septmber. We had a fantastic experience with Geoff, our guide.

I honestly don't remember what time we ate lunch. If I had to guesstimate, it was probably about 11:00. The tour took about 5 hours, and I would say we ate about halfway through.

The first portion of the tour is full of little tips and history information about the park and its operation. The second half is more backstage stuff.

Best $50 per person I ever spent at Disney! ;)

Looking forward to the tour on Oct 22. :Pinkbounc

Did the tour back in 2002 and loved it! Considering how much information and time you get the cost is very reasonable! Ate lunch about half way through at CHH, lovely restaurant, would eat there again :) We actually had a very Disney-esque moment at the end of the tour when we discovered that our tour guide was doing her first solo tour and that the solo member of our group actually worked for Disney and was observing her! After telling us all this he presented her with her riding crop to show that she had passed her observation and was now an official guide! :Pinkbounc

We took the tour this past February and loved it. Wear comfortable shoes, as it's a lot of walking. They took you on two rides - Pirates and the Haunted Mansion. There wasn't a line at Pirates, but after lunch when we were heading over to the Haunted Mansion, the line was very long. Not to worry, they took us in through a different entrance and got in front of everyone. You will have an enjoyable time.

I took this tour on 8/14. Loved It!
My tour started at 8:30 and we ate lunch at 11:00. As we were leaving at 11:30, the following tour (9:00 start) was coming in to eat. Have a great time.
