We are taking a super quick, last minute trip with no kiddos in tow in March - 2 nights, almost 3 full days due to early and late flights. I was looking at some of the tours we would not necessarily do when visiting with kids and Keys to the Kingdom jumped out at me. Has anyone been on that tour? Is it worth the $100 and more importantly the 5 hours??

I did it in 2017 on a solo trip and LOVED it. If you are a fan of the history behind WDW, then you will definitely enjoy this tour. Lunch is included, and even though it’s not a fancy lunch, it is a nice touch. I’d do the tour again one day for sure. It’s a good value.

Just did keys to the kingdom in December and loved it. It was neat to learn more about Disney and see some of the backstage areas. For me it didn’t take away from the magic but just added to it. Learned some interesting things about the parade floats and tinker bell and got to go into the utilidors which was great. If you’re big Disney fans it is totally worth it!

We did it this past September on our Honeymoon and enjoyed it very much. It does revolve around the history of the park and some of Disney himself quite a bit. There is lunch included which is nice and you go on 2 rides ( ours were PotC and HM ) with little wait. You also get to see some of the Utilidor which we thought was very interesting. Our guide was wonderfully knowledgable.

I did it last year, and it was ok. I didn't learn as much or see as much as I thought I would. As something different to do, and a different perspective on the park, I enjoyed it. But I wouldn't do it again.

Did it about a year and a half ago and was really disappointed. Being a Disney geek, I knew much of the trivia revealed during the tour. I believe our guide is what really put a sour twist on the whole thing. Forgot her name but she was very mechanical and
scripted in her manner and delivery. Ho hum! The underground tour (I forgot what they're called, utilidors or something), was meh. Reminded me of the lower level of our local hospital. Sorry to say I woudn't reconmend.
But I can recommend spending some time st Ft Wilderness...renting a kayak (saw a gator up close!), a Segway tour or captaining your own boat on Bay Lake! Did 'em all, loved 'em all!

Keys to the Kingdom is so worth it. I really liked it. I learned a lot from it and highly recommend doing it.

Keys is a good tour but if you want something with a shorter time, you might consider the Marceline tour. You will still get the park/Disney history and trivia but you get to go under the Haunted Mansion while it is in operation. I found that to be much more interesting than the utilidors.

You will love it :)
We did it when my DD finally reached age 16

We ate lunch at Columbia Harbor House - ordered before the tour started
They even accepted special requests - no salt, no mayo....
We got K to K pins at the end of the tour.
There were families, couples and single guests on the tour

We even did a group picture of all of us from a WDW photographer and it was connected to all of us who had the photo package plan.

Highly recommend it - even if you think you know everything about WDW, there is still more stories to learn about
