Keys to the Kingdom Tour?

We did Keys to the Kingdom in July, it was fantastic. Our guide was Jason and he was superb!!!

We did this during our October trip and it was well worth the money! Mark was our guide and he was great! We also met Jeff during lunch and he was wonderful too. I told DH after the tour that I will never enter MK and walk down Main Street without looking at it a little differently!

I would make them as soon as you can...our tour was pretty full....
We did the 8:30 am tour (MK opened at 9 that day) and when you
go into the park, you can get awesome pictures of the Castle with NO ONE
ELSE IN THEM!!!! :rotfl:

Would you suggest taking the 8:30 then? Is it better to take the early one, instead of the later ones (well, 9 and 9:30)? Thanks!

I did the morning tour last summer. We went in July and figured it would'nt be too hot in the morning. The best part was they offered us coffee when we checked in. We had such a good time I was glad we went.

I liked doing the 8:30 tour, then we were done between 1 and 1:30 and still had plenty of time to do a little shopping, ect before heading back to the CBR. It is a walking tour, so make sure you wear comfy shoes!!!! And getting to enter the park before opening is really cool !!!!!! :goodvibes

How did you take pictures? We were absolutely not allowed to have cameras on the tour, because they don't want anyone to take pictures in the backstage areas. Did you take them and then store them in a locker, or were you allowed to bring them on the tour?

We had our camera going into the park, then when we checked in at the tour, they stored our backpack in City Hall till we got back. :earsgirl:

I'll be in the minority and say my dh and I hated it. We both are WDW fanatics but found the tour boring and too much just standing around. We rode POTC and HM. I felt it was a big waste of 5 hours on a day at MK which wasn't busy and would have been great to just ride rides.

Hmmm, I'm going in January, I love POTC and HM VERY MUCH! I'm not afraid to see the rides behind the scenes because I already know the rides backwards and forwards. I'm excited to see them from a Cast Member point of view. Is their a way to ensure that I get to ride ride POTC HM and JC, or is it just random.

that's the thing, you don't get to see the behind the scenes of the rides you ride- you just ride them. I was really disappointed in that.

Oh, I see. Just wondering. My tour involved much adventure with my CM friend dropping me off near the MK entrance and me accidentally taking my backpack with instead of leaving it in her car. So she had to come get it from me after she parked and then carry it through the tunnels with the camera, a big no-no! :earseek: I would have felt so bad if she was caught, but it turned out ok. :earsgirl: But I guess I could have just checked it at City Hall!

We took the tour though it was outstanding, we had tour guide Nick. :Pinkbounc
