Keys to the Kingdom Tour

If you want a fun thing to do I would recommend a "Keys to the Kingdom Tour". We took one last year. They have several levels of tours. We took the walking tour of the park with a short trip into the "tunnels". It was very informative, but I would have like to see more of the tunnels.

One thing I've noticed. The Cast Members have their "Disney Face" on while in the park, but in the tunnels they were more like "Grumpy" and not really happy to see us wandering around on their turf. They looked tired and bored like anyone on any job might.

Yeah. I thought they would really show more of the Utilidor system, too, but from what I understand that has been closed off to tourists since 9/11.

I loved this tour! I took it November 2004 and had a blast! Our tour guide was pleasant all of the time, always with a smile and a great answer!

My bro-in-law expressed some interest in doing something different while down there. He just doesnt 'get' Disney the way many others in the family do. I told him about the various tours and he thought that sounded more interesting then a reg visit to the parks. We also booked a Wishes cruise which he will hopefully enjoy.

I am hoping with him being down there with his son (who will be 3 then) he will see the park differently this time. Alas I think it is likely he will be like my uncle and forever just not get it. But like my uncle he will have no choice but to take frequent trips there because just like my Aunt, my sister bought into DVC so he'll be going many many times whether or not he likes it

In May we did the Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase tour and it was also fantastic.

I've been wanting to do a KTTK tour forever! I'm planning on doing it next trip, but now I'm a little worried it will take away some of the magic of Disney for me. Anyone feel like that after the tour?
