Has anyone done this tour? I know it says it is "wheelchair accessible" but is it really? Would we be able to use the scooter or wheelchair only?

DH & I had discussed going on this tour prior to him becoming an AKA (above knee amputee) but never got to do the tour. We haven't discussed it since, but friends of ours went on the tour and said "it's a must".

Any other Disney tours that would be good for an AKA with a scooter (or wheelchair)?

Thanks much!

I did this tour with my personal ECV and it is truly accessible! I enjoyed the tour very much. You will go up an elevator at Columbia Harbor House that is a little out of the way, but easy to manage. (That is where you will have lunch.)

We did the tour on ECV's last January, and it was fine. The guide called our scooters "royal carriages." We had lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern and they usually eat upstairs which would have been problematic but they "just happened" to set the tables for our group on the main floor.

The first time I did this tour I was with two people in wheelchairs. Tour was awesome. They used an elevator in Columbia Harbour House. Sometimes you don't even realize it, but Disney has elevators everywhere. I think you will have a great time. I love this tour!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

Done this tour several times in my PWC and it is great. Completely accessible. I have done quite a few tours and everyone has been accessible for the most part. A few may have a part that isn't unless he can walk a short distance and take a few steps like Backstage Magic.
