I have a family member that would like to take this tour, but is older and overweight. They have some trouble walking or standing for any length of time and will not use a ECV. Has anyone taken this tour and can give their opinion on this? I have actually taken this tour, but it was quite awhile back. I seem to recall alot more standing around than walking. I know they now give headsets so I'm thinking they could sit down near by and still listen in? Many reviews mention alot of walking. I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts. Is this tour accommodating? Thanks so much!

There is a lot of walking and standing for periods of time. I would suggest a wheelchair or an ECV or your family member will be in a lot of pain by the time it is over. The tour is very accommodating for people in ECV's and wheelchairs.

Lots of walking and standing (which is very tiring as well). I was in my 30's when I did it and in good shape and was weary afterwards as were other people in our group.

I took it in my own scooter and it was not a short tour! I really don't remember a lot of places to sit down the places we stopped.

It is a long tour. It is fully accessible and really an ECV (or wheelchair) should be used.

You could always encourage them to get the ECV "just for the tour"...and they may find they like it!
