I know that the typical rides featured in the Keys to the Kingdom Tour are:
1.) The Jungle Cruise
2.) Pirates of the Caribbean
3.) The Haunted Mansion

But I have read that several people have taken the tour and not gotten to ride all three. Is there a pattern to this, such as which of the three times offered you take the tour? Is it sheer dumb luck based on lines at the rides? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! :jumping3:

We didn't get to ride the Jungle Cruise when DH and I went on the 8:30 AM tour, because it didn't open up until later on that morning. The tour guide gave us some facts about it though before heading over to PotC. He said that if we waited for it to open, it would put us behind schedule.

I chose that tour time because I wanted to avoid the afternoon heat. I probably would have tolerated the heat and taken a later tour if I knew we weren't going to ride JC though.

By the way, the tuna sandwich is delicious. It was one of the lunch choices.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes...there's a lot of walking and you stand a lot. Also pick up a water in the room that you check in at. We didn't take any breaks for people to buy a beverage during the tour.

Hopes this helps.

We took the 8:30AM tour and rode JC first, skipped POTC, and then rode HM later. We did stop by POTC in that little secluded area and she talked about POTC, but told us we wouldn't be riding it. And we didn't... :confused3

It seems like it depends on your tour guide and what pace are you going, since Mandabella took an 8:30 AM tour also and rode JC but not PotC.

This past May I also took the 8:30am tour. Our tour guide said he preferred the 8:30am tour by the way, because there is usually fewer people and he got to spend more time with each guest. We rode Pirates of the Carribean and the Haunted Mansion. He did talk about the Jungle Cruise though.

We just rode POC and HM on our tour. I think it depends on the guide though since ours said that POC was his favorite. Others in different groups went on JC the same day.

We took the 9:30 tour on Sept. 17 and did JC and HM but no PotC. Our tour actually took over 5 hours, we got done at 2:45pm. Maybe the different tour guides skip rides to try and keep on schedule.

We did the 8:30 tour in August and rode JC and HM but no POTC, which my husband was dissappointed about. Our tour went well over 5 hours.

When I took the tour at 9:00, and at 9:30, I rode HM and JC, but not POTC both times. It must be the tour guide. Also, both tours went over 5 hours too!

I took the 9:00 tour this past January and rode POTC and HM. It was quite chilly and very windy that day. My tour guide said she didn't know she was giving tours that day and had worn a skirt, maybe that's why she skipped the Jungle Cruise!! :rotfl2:

We had Rae as a guide, and did HM and JC no PotC. Excellent tour, lasting over 5 hours. I had the chicken salad, also great.

I also had Rae! I thought she was great! That was one of my favorite tours! :goodvibes

We also rode JC and HM, but not POTC - we had the 9am tour. Our tour guide was Lilla - she was great! Very informative and patient. The afternoon got a little too hot (it was the very end of July) but that was our only complaint. (Well, that and the couple in our group who kept asking really silly, off-the-wall questions, as well as questions that should have been asked backstage only.)

We loved the tour, but would only do it again in a less-hot season. There was a LOT of standing and walking without breaks and the heat really started to get to us.

You'll have so much fun! :flower:

We rode HM and POTC - December 29, 2003. I enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes "stuff" and information.

We had our tour on (9/27) with Heather and she was great! We rode all three rides and she shared so much information. Then we ate at the Columbia Habor House, the tuna sandwich is the best! Jason in Relations was there too, you can really tell that they really love Disney and love to talk about it.
