I'm thinking about booking the Keys to the Kingdom tour, but before I do, I have a question about the lunch break. Are there vegetarian options for lunch, and if so, what are they? Thanks!!

Dh and I did the Keys tour in Feb 2005; we both prefer to eat vegetarian but eat fish in a pinch. I cannot for the life of me remember what the heck we ate on the tour. He is presently sleeping so I can't ask :rotfl: I think we had a sandwich that had hummus on it. At the time we did the tour the lunch was taken at Columbia Harbor house-I believe they offer a sandwich made of hummus with tomato & broccoli slaw. I am not a huge fan of hummus but I did find this sandwich rather tasty!

BTW, DH just woke up and confirmed that we did indeed eat the hummus sandwich. Too much drama for one post and too many mentions of hummus.

Before the tour begins the guide passes out a menu and asks everyone to pick out their lunch.

Enjoy the tour, it is really fun!!

I remember having the broccoli slaw and it was wonderful.
