DH is interested in doing the Keys To The Kingdom Tour. There's not a whole lot of info about it in the UOG or the OG. I'm curious if it's worth the time and money? Also, does going through the tour hurt the "Disney Magic"? (you know that feeling!!!) I appreciate any information and opinions!!!

We did Keys to the Kingdom in December 2003 and loved it.
Undiscovered Future World is another amazing tour, along with the Segway Tour of course.
Believe it or not, two weeks ago we were very disappointed with the Yuletide Tour, and I had been so excited to finally book it.
The allearsnet has various tour reviews on it.

We did the keys to the kingdom tour in 10/04. It was a lot of fun. THe guides include alot of trivia about the park, usually 2-3 rides, back stage and utilador access. Lunch is included at Columbia Harbor House. It's about 4 hours long, but the time went rather quickly. I'd definitely do it again.

I just posted some of this in another thread, but DH and I did the Keys tour earlier this month. We had a blast! It was a busy day so we didn't do so much rides but spent more time wandering around on stage and back stage -- our tour lasted almost 5 hours. I would definitely recommend it! As far as spoiling the magic, if you are concerned this may not be a tour for you. We did see a couple characters back stage partially out of costume and definitely out of character. It was fun though a tour though and we learned a lot of interesting info!

We did Keys and Undiscovered on consecutive days and found them to be great fun and hugely worthwhile. They didn't ruin the magic for either of us at all. Seeing the utilidors and the backstage area was just a bit more magic, rather than taking away from the magic. But we love that sort of thing.

I would definitely take either of the tours again, with a different guide. Our guide was fantastic, but you know they can't tell you everything in one go so they probably have their semi-set favorites when it comes to what they point out. I would recommend either tour with confidence. They were teriffic!

We went in October though it was great. :Pinkbounc

Something to keep in mine is that the price does include lunch. So, that offsets some on the cost.

My dh and I did the tour 2 weks ago and loved it. I was hoping not to spoil the magic and it didn't. We saw alot of floats back stage and interesting facts, but no characters ( luckily). It was alot of fun!!!

I have the KTTK tour booked for my "full day Solo" in March - thanks for the great reviews!

I loved the tour when I did it in January. I thought it was great to see these back stage areas. At the time I booked, I told the CM that I had an AP, I was a +DVC member, and had a disney visa. They were offering 20% off the tour if you booked with the disney visa then.

I took the tour in August and loved it. Even though I was a CP at the time, I really loved the tour because I thought it was really interesting. I highly recommend it for everyone- 16 and up, of course. BTW, my tour guide was Rae and I really liked her a lot.

We did KTTK in October and loved it!!! It's really interesting to see some of the backstage stuff and to answer some of those "how'd they do that?" questions! The lunch at CHH was awesome and our tourguide, Matthew, was wonderful !!!! I even wrote to Disney giving him a glowing report!!! Go and have fun!!! :earsgirl:

another satisifed KTTK person here!! It is great fun - I would agree with the characters - if you feel it might spoil it for you, perhaps give it a miss.

Our tour guide Doug was amazing!

MY aunt and I did this in November of 2002
. We loved it. We loved the bits of trivia they told us, we also got a sneek peek that the practice of the Christmas Parade. The toy soldiers were practicing in half their uniform. We saw floats for the parades Went in the ulitors(sp?) We went on the JC and the HH. Found some hidden mickeys. IT was really fun and I would like to do it again.
