I have always wanted to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour . I am going without the kids so I am doing it. I am going to schedule for Aug 25, Monday. Need some advice on which time should I select the very first? Or the 9 or 9:30. Any advice is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

From what I understand, if you take the earliest time and it's not an EMH day, you'll get to be inside the park before it opens and watch rope drop from the other side. That's supposed to be a pretty cool thing to see.

I've read that a lot of the fun depends on what guide you get more than anything, so you're rolling the dice and hoping for someone who likes their job.

In summer I'd go with the earliest start time - that will keep you in the most pleasant weather. The later it gets, the more uncomfortable you could be in the heat and sun. Plus those pesky rain showers don't start til later also.

We did the tour at 8:30am and they tell you to be there 15 minutes early. The MK opened at 9am that day. I really stressed out about getting to MK that early, but it all worked out. We caught a bus at 7:25am and were in the park by around 8am. We had time to take some pictures and walk around a little.

One of the fun things about doing the tour before park open is that we saw the CM's dressed up for the opening show. And we saw what they called "the running of the bulls", which is what happens when the park opens.

I did the early tour and I was in the park by 8am.

I basically walked around and took pictures, there might have been some photo pass photogs around, I can't remember. But it was nice to be in early.

Even in March by the time 11:00 hit standing in the sun was very very warm and uncomfortable (but manageable), at the end (almost 2) it was hot.

Go as early as you possibly can. That way, you'll get a lot of the tour done before it gets too hot. It will be hot but less hot at 8:30.
Have fun..it's a great tour.

I was always worried about not being able to catch a bus (we were staying at OKW) for the early time, so I booked the 9 am tour.

Have a great time - we took this tour in January and loved it! Our tour guide was Debbie - she is great, and even took us on POTC, which is not usually on the tour, but it was her favorite ride!

Buses start at 6:30 every morning.

We booked 8:30 for our September just in the slight chance we can get a picture of the castle without loads of people in it....
