DH and I will be traveling to DW shortly for a convention. DH will be spending most of the day in meetings and I plan on exploring the parks, shopping, and sitting by the pool while he is away. I am thinking about doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour on one of the days that he will be away, but am worried that I will feel left out in a large groups filled with other couples and families. Has anyone had any experiences as a solo on one of these tours?

I have done a number of the tours solo and have always had a great time. The tours are more info than my wife wants so I when I get back I give her a quick synopsis. No worries you will meet and talk with your fellow tour goers.

I have gone on the Family Magic, Keys to the Kingdom , and the Behind our Steam Trains tours....DH is not a fan of tours, came on the Behind the Steam Trains and decided that was it for him.....I loved the tours, and am anxiously awaiting the next one! Who cares if you're alone on the tour...it's ten to twelve people....all looking for inside info......I had a great time on all of them..

I've done most of the tours solo, and most of the time there is at least one other solo to buddy up with!

We had a "solo" with our group on our most recent trip. She appeared to have a great time and wasn't left out at all!!

We have seen others that have done the tours solo and they are accepted by the group and seem to have a great time. I would do it if there was one that I wanted to do that DW wanted to stay behind on.

You will enjoy the tour! Everything is done as a group and a solo person would not be singled out for anything. These tours are only available to persons over 16 so usually it's all adults. Your sure to find another 'single' to ride the rides with too, there were 3-4 on the last tour we took.

We are a family of three and would happily welcome someone else into our little group. It is a great way to meet people from other places.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. I did the tour by myself and I had a blast. For the time that you are with the group you get to know some people. So I wouldn't worry.

I have done both KTTK and Steam Train solo and enjoyed both. I didn't feel left out and would do other tours solo also. Go ahead and enjoy!

Thanks for all of the replys! I decided that I would be fine and called and made reservations for our upcoming trip in July. I am really looking forward to doing this, as we normally travel with our children and would be unable to take this tour! Thanks again for all of your advice! :goodvibes
