Has anyone done this tour?

1. What did you think of it?

2. Where/What is the "included lunch"?

3. Do you do any rides while on the tour?

We did our tour Sept '05 and loved it, we learned so much that we didn't know before.

We ate lunch at the Columiba Habor House. The tuna sandwich was great, we will go again on our next trip.

We rode on PotC, JC and HM, plus we went underground as well!

We haven't done the tour yet, (we are doing it in May) but I know that lunch is at the Columbia Harbor House.

I think you get to ride the Jungle Cruise and the Haunted Mansion, but I could be wrong.

We did it this summer and loved it! There wasn't a lot I didn't know, but I've been on these boards for years and picked up a great deal of what's said on the tour. Even so, there were still things that were new to me and I thought it was absolutely fascinating. I'd do it again with a new guide (ours was fabulous) in case they talk about different things.

We had lunch at Columbia Harbour House, rode Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Jungle Cruise, and had a good look 'round the backstage areas and utilidores. Well worth the cost, IMO.

Though it was well worth it. We had Tour guide Nick he was excellent. If you can do this tour. :wizard:

Very nice tour, but a little too long for me. Ours lasted 5 hrs.

When we met at the Tour Garden to check in, we were shown our choices for lunch. At the time, I remember thinking, "A fast-food sandwich and drink for lunch, oh well." I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprized at the quality of the food and the lovely presentation.

As the others have said, we rode the JC and the HM. Cool inside info.

I particularly liked the parade float garage. The floats are amazing to see up close.

I didn't love the utilidors, (underground) but some people really enjoyed seeing them.

I think I actually enjoyed the UnDiscovered Futureworld tour at Epcot a little more, but I'm more of an Epcot girl than a MK girl.

Don't let me scare you away, most people think it's perfect! :sunny:

I took it in August 2005 and LOVED it! There was a lot that I didn't know and I found it all very interesting. My tour guide was Rae. She was really good. We went on Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. we had lunch at the CHH. We also looked backstage at the parade floats area and went down into the utilidor. I highly recommend it for anyone- 16 and up, of course.

In September of '04, our guide was Geoff. It was a fascinating tour! I LOVED being on the "first floor" and seeing all that goes on down there.

I had a sandwich and cup of soup. It was all very much worht the price, and the length of time it took.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! We did the 8:30 one and had a small group which was nice. It was easy to gather around the guide to be sure you could hear everything. Our tour was 5 hours and the distance walked was about 2.1 miles. You stop a lot to look at things and listen to the guide so it's not like you're walking a lot at one time.

This was the menu we had to choose from for lunch -

Choices included a Fried Chicken Strips Basket, Fried Fish and Chicken Combo, Garden Galley Salad (mixed greens with feta cheese, pecans, grilled chicken, and pineapple in a zinfandel vinaigrette), Starboard Deck Sandwich (Toasted bread topped with ham, cheese, tomato, and broccoli slaw), and New England Clam Chowder or Vegetarian Chili served in a bread bowl.

My friends and I went in February 2005 and loved it. Lunch was fine and simple, standard quick lunch fare. The tour itself seems to depend on your guide. The reviews I've seen and my own experience seem to say it rates from good to amazing.

We went on pirates and haunted mansion. Our guide told us a couple of things to watch for which was a fun treat. We even got the CM version of the haunted mansion wedding ring story.

I really liked being able to interrogate a CM about what it's like to work for Disney. Our guide was great.

I highly recommend it.

We did it in December and it was great, we had the 8:30 tour and Jeff was out tour guide, he was also great. We ate at Columbia Harbor House, I had fish and fries, my DH had chicken strips. We went on HM and POC. You must do this tour just remember 16 and older is the age requirements.

I did the tour last September also. I went all 3 rides to and the tour is great.
My lunch was the salad and it was fantastic!
