Other than the obvious price and time differences, if you had your choice, which tour would you take?

We have the time in January to spend for the longer tour. Is it worth it?

Thank you in advance for any feedback! :-)

Who all is going? In order to go on Keys to the Kingdom, everyone has to be 16 or over. I don't know about Backstage Magic.

We LOVED KTTK!!!! Just really a wonderful experience all the way around.

Me, DH, and DD20, who hopes to work for Disney after graduation, so is very interested in the "backstage" info.

I would do the Backstage then. It's a really great tour and I've done it twice and heard different things on each tour.

I've done both tours. BSM in 1997 and Keys in 2012. Backstage Magic is a great day-long tour. You will get to see much more "backstage" than KTTK. However, KTTK is nice because it's only in the Magic Kingdom. The Utilidors portion is relatively short on both tours. When I did Backstage Magic, they took us into the Audio Animatronics operations center and the parade control room. I've heard that those parts have been removed from the tour. So this limits your Utilidors visit to just the hallways. No big whoop, actually.

Leaning toward the Backstage Magic tour, especially to give DD a look before she applies after college!

I have taken both tours, multiple times each. Backstage Magic will certainly give you all much more in depth backstage 'stuff'. It is a very interesting, all day tour.

Don't forget the discounts....AAA, DVC, AP (15%), Disney Visa (20%).

Enjoy.
