Just booked this for DH and I on our Anniv. trip in May. Very excited to do something 'grownup' while we are there without kids. Any suggestions or feedback on the tour?

Me, my wife, & two kids (teens) took this tour in '02. We loved it! It was a nice diversion from the typical touring. You're on your feet a lot walking all over the park. We had a nice lunch at Columbia Harbour House. They took our order before the tour & had it all sitting out for us with a nameplate when we arrived. You get to go backstage & in the utilidors. It's one of the best things we've done at WDW. Have fun!

This is a great tour, you will love it. There is so much more to appreciate at MK not the we have done the tour. Lunch at Columbia Harbor house was very good.

Be prepared for a lot of walking. You will go from one end of MK to the other, both up and down.

The behind the scenes info on the rides is just great.

This tour is two thumbs up!

I loved my KTTK tour that I took November 2004. It was extremely informative and fun! At the same trip I did the Behind the Scenes of Animal Kingdom, being the huge animal lover that I am. WOW! It was awesome, too! I was quite impressed at the length Disney goes to for the animals' well being. If you can, take both of these tours! Have fun!

I realize this is a somewhat old thread, but just wanted to share our experience on the tour. We had a fabulous tour guide (James) who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Disney in general. We started off on Main Street, then worked our way to Adventureland, into Frontierland and behind the scenes near Splash Mountain. We then headed to Columbia Harbor House for lunch, which was good (espcially for a counter service joint) and we then rode Haunted Mansion and discussed a little bit about some of the misconseptions. We then walked back around by Crystal Palace and we began our "behind the scenes" tour here. I won't say much about it (as it would obviously ruin the tour) but it is mindblowing to say the least. We then continued through the utilidoors, and up behind Tommorrowland Noodle Terrace. We then walked back out and ended at Town Hall. Time wise it was around 5 hours and like others have said, LOTS of walking. Overall, I thought it was well worth the time and money, but a word of caution, it can spoil some of the "magic"....

I am glad you told me it can spoil the magic... my hubby doesn't want me to go on this b/c of that.. he refuses to go.. he says he wants to keep in his mind the way it is.. and not see behind the scenes.. I feel like I would love to do the tour but don't want to lose the magic.
