It was all very Christmassy and the weather was a little chilly so it added to the Christmassy feeling, we did have long sleeves and layers on all day.

The Fantasyland area was open so we made Under the Sea-Journey of the little Mermaid our first ride. There was no wait for this one and as we made our way through the queuing area we were able to take a few pictures and not feel like we were holding anyone up.

Next we joined the queue for enchanted tails with Belle. To be honest we wish we hadnt bothered. The queue was massive and apart from the clever way the mirror turns into a door and Lumiere talks to you in the story area it is something Id only want to do again if we ever had Grandchildren to take with us.

I was chosen to be one of the guards which did mean I was able to get my photo taken with Belle.

After this we had an early lunch at Be Our Guest which we were please we did as the queue was getting very long even at that time of day.

The bill came to $35.00.
It was very noisy and busy in the main room and next time we will chose to sit in one of the side rooms.

We did The Hall of Presidents ( we wanted a sit down). Next up was BTM before watching the afternoon parade.

We made an ADR for Kona for later before Theresa beat me on Buzz Lightyear.
The park was ridiculously busy, probably the busy we have ever seen it.
We did spot a very interesting Tee shirt

Does anyone know what this guy was doing?

It's the first time I've seen anyone controling one of these.

We left the park around 5.30 and headed for The Contemporary resort to have a look at the Christmas decorations and tree before going to look around The Poly ahead of our 7.00 ADR at Kona Café.

The food at Kona was delicious. I had Asian Noodles with shrimp while Theresa had the Kona rubbed pork chop with cheese gratin potatoes. Mine was nice but hers was better. It was served with a lovely bread with a gorgeous macadamia and honey butter.

We both had the Banana Crème Brulee for dessert.

While we were eating the chef came around and we asked him about the pork chop being served medium as it not something that is recommended in England.

He said the Bug that lives in Pork (Trichinosis) hasnt been found in the USA since the 70s so chefs in the states feel it is safe to serve it medium now. I did try a bite of Theresas and it was really good.

Theresa even had a cocktail with her meal which she really loved.

After our meal we returned to MK and it was heaving!

After Wishes most guests left the park which meant all the rides were walk ons instead of the 90-100 minute waits that had been posted for most of the day so we did Pirates, haunted mansion and small world in quick succession before catching the 2nd electric light parade.

The park was due to close at 12.00 but we left at 11.45 and took the ferry back to the TTC.

We managed to get back to The Sheraton quite quickly as we found the quick route back more by accident than design.

Great to see the park all decked out for Christmas
We are visiting in December this year and really looking forward to seeing all the decorations

Love the parks at Xmas :)

We had a similar conversation about Pork at flying fish, and actually after we got back we went to a posh local restaurant that recommended it medium too (first and only time in the UK).
