I don't know the exact amount there are two interactive Queues. I'm saying one is a waste.

Let me refraise it. Half of the the new Interactive Queues is a waste.

I disagree. And all the kids playing there disagree, too.

The point of this seems to be removing the idea that we need to trudge in a straight line from the entrance of an attraction to the attraction itself and bring an additional level of either discovery or enjoyment to the rides.

I'm all for it.

I actually think it works better at HM than at Pooh because at Pooh there's now a little more chaos as people try to herd their kids away from the play areas and into the line, and people moving into and out of the tight spaces to retrieve or rejoin their parties.

At HM, the flow is much more organic.

Why did HM need this? Other rides need it more that is why it's a waste HM was fine other rides need this. If you can't see that as a waste we should just stop talking about it.

IMHO, the HM queue fits this quote, and it's nice to see them doing ANYTHING that captures even a tiny bit of that spirit.

I have to sort of agree with you on this. The interactive queues look nice and are fun but in the overall scheme of things they slow down lines quite a bit.

See I'm not against the concept I just don't think it worked or was neede in HM.

Space Moutain and Pooh are fine and some other attractions that could use it are.

i read the same article! I think the wrist bands sound fantastic. From what i gather, people can choose what information gets put on them or even opt out all together.

I thouht a cool feature of the wrist bands is the "next gen" meet and greet where the characters will know your kid's name and if hes been to wdw before. The character could greet you by saying "hi josh, its nice to see you again!" my kid would flip!! I know some people will find tis creepy but i think its important that this kind of information remains a choice. As long as disney respects peoples choices and privacy this could be a really cool thing!

I am not a real fan of Space Mountains queue line. The games are cute however I feel they just cause people to randomly stop in a area where your trying to keep people moving. When the line at space is backed up enough that people can stand and play it seems like many people are pushing forward to try and get to the games, especially kids.

I'm not against a well themed somewhat interactive line, It should just be done in a way where it wont cause people to stop or cause those that are stopped because of the line to be packed in tighter because people want to be that little bit closer to a game or something.

Haunted Mansion queue line looks great, It's just a hot mess when it comes to guest flow. Any queue line that requires its own queue line seems like a weird concept to me.

I am against the wristbands for a crazy reason-I don't want the wristbands to show up in all of my photopass photo's. I think a wristband could really cheapen the picture. If these come out before I go again in 2012, I would definitely invest in a nice wristband that wouldn't easily clash with other colors.

If it would be possible to have the wrist band but not wear it, I would stuff it in my purse!!

I follow another disney board and this same poster is there constantly complaining about today's disney. I'm not sure if I've read a truly positive comment by them about Disney. Just let it go and realize some people have a fixed view of things.
