Key to the World Question

I bought these super cute luggage tags with Minnie on the back side. The Key to the World would fit in there nicely, but it might not be convenient to pull it in and out. Can someone tell me if the Key to the Word is contactless or if you actually have to swipe it?

To get into your room it's contactless, but you need to take it out anytime you're 'paying' for something like drinks, shopping, etc.

Do you mean lanyard? Can't understand why you put your KTTW card in a luggage tag. Anyway, on the Magic last month I believe it was all tap to open the door, tap to pay for something.

Edited to add....I guess you mean to carry around and not actually put on luggage!!! As mentioned you will still need to take it out fairly often.

The luggage tag could be put on a lanyard. It's cute! But the lanyard would make it hard to slide the key out. Thanks.
