My brother picked up some paper tickets at the world and sent them to me. Can I turn them in at the hotel and have them put them on my room key/key to the world? Or am I going to have to keep up with this itty bitty paper card and a room key?

I think they will only add them to your room key if you buy more - park hoppers or an extra day or whatever.

Another option you can do is transfer your paper tickets onto a blank card to be used as your tickets, so you don't have to put them on your KTTW card that you would use for shopping, entering you're room and etc. That is what my family and I did with our tickets last December while in WDW.

The tickets are for 7 days with hopper and fun option. We wioll be adding dining plan once we get there.

I thought I read a post a while back where someone said you could have them added to your KTTW, as long as none of the days had been used yet. Does anyone remember that post?

I sure hope so because I don't want to have to worry about loosing them or damaging them in some way

My understanding is that they can be added to your room keys.. without any problem.. should not matter if you have used a day or not.. nor do you have to purchase anything else to add to them.

HOWEVER..

You can't add dining "when you get there" nor can you add dining without first purchasing a package that includes at least one day base tickets..

Dining must be added to your reservation at least 3 days before arrival and again, ONLY as part of a package reservation that includes at least one day base tickets.

Hope this helps,

Knox

We have already 'reserved' the dining plan. We were told to pay for it when we got there. Can we pay for it before then?

If you are staying with DVC points, it can only be paid for at check-in. It does have to be added to your reservation in advance.

I've had a room key and an annual pass for years and have never had a problem with them being separate. I think you are worrying about it too much. Since you have them now, I would make copies and pack them separate as a backup.

Right.. I should have looked at your sig.. you're staying at DVC then yes.. you can pay for it at check in but it must be added in advance.

And yes, they should be able to add your tickets to your room key without difficulty.

Sorry for any confusion.. I should have just read your SIG! :)

Thanks! It's ok. Just cause I am staying at a DVC resort doesn't mean I am using points (even though I am). But thanks for the apologies tho.
We're getting down to the 2 month mark so I am just trying to get all my 'ears' in a row.
