Key To The Magic?? Cards

This is also your room key, right? Don't they also fingerprint you for it as well? Where do they do that at? Do they also take your picture as well, or no? Sorry, all of this is new to me!! Usually when I go to Disneyland, they give me a paper ticket and I'm on my way.....I know things are different with an extended stay at WDW!!!

The Key To The World Cards which is what they are called are your room keys and can be used for charging purchases to your room. They could also be used as your park tickets if you wish to have that done. With my family our tickets have always been seperate from our KTTW cards. Also in some cases when guests are using the DDP the KTTW cards will automatically be used as your park tickets. So no matter how your tickets are you will need to use the biometric finger scan when entering the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, the Animal Kingdom and I am assuming it's the same when visiting Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. The only thing they do not do is take your picture.

Yes, The Key to the World card is your room key and park ticket and DDP if you have purchased that. You can also link a credit card or cash for charging priviledges. You will scan your finger at the parks turnstiles as you enter the park, and no they won't take your picture (well at least not yet).

Last June we got to the park and our tickets had not been linked to our room key and they had to give us paper tickets, also my AP's are paper, but the KTTW cards are like a credit card.

They do take your fingerprint I am not sure about the picture how can a moderator ignorant

They do a scan of your finger when you use it at the park. The information stored in the computer is not the fingerprint. There is no photo.

If you never go to a park then no biometric scan.
