The book is about MIchael Eisner and his rise to the top. It talks alot about the inner workings of major production companies and how a lot of big businesses relate to Disney. It talks about how Eisner and Disney treated other Disney executives that later went on to be successful with other companies. It talks about many Disney ventures that failed and succedded too. This may all sound boring, but the book is well written, and I found it very interesting.
If I had not read the book, I would not have fallen out of my chair laughing during the Oscars this year when Shrek won and Monsters Inc did not. The presenter also gave the award to the Shrek people wearing a Mickey glove.
Read the book, you will get a kick out of it too.
