On the last podcast, there was a brief talk about Vinylmations. Kevin mentioned that he had only one (the only one he wanted), but didn't get the chance to say what it was. So now I'm curious to know what that special VM is! Kevin?

I did have the clear orange one and the black one with white squiggles (probably not the correct name).

One of our listeners offered to trade the retro D for either of the ones I had.

I sent him both, because I thought it was great that he made the offer to help me get the one I really wanted.

I never really got into pin trading.....but Vinylmations really appeal to me (the look and colours etc). I cant wait to get my hands on my very first!!

I got 3 the last time I was at Disney. They were sitting on my old desk. I haven't decided if they will go to my new desk. I like them, but I think I will only get specific ones from Ebay if I really want them. Better to pay a little more for what you want as opposed to the Vinylmation lottery Disney makes you play.

I don't have any yet, but I love to get the condiment set. I'd love to have the ketchup, mustard, and honey, but I'd have to buy both sets to get those three. I wish I could break up the sets!

I am NOT going to start collecting Vinylmation (this is the mantra I repeat in my head) but I have to ask...wouldn't you think Disney would sell more/make more money if people could buy the ones they want? I understand the collectors might buy multiple packs to get the one they want, but I would think there are alot more people who see a couple they want but then don't buy any when they find out they can't just buy the ones they like.

I totally agree with you, Lisa. If I could be sure which Muppet Vinylmation I would have gotten, I would have purchase at least 3 or 4 of them. I got one to see if I would get 1 my favorite characters. I ended up with Bean Bunny. Cute, but not a favorite. And I ended up with a yellow clear one, not a favorite color. So my experiment will head to Ebay if I want to proceed (if I find somewhere to display them.
