I'm thrilled that Kevin and John enjoyed Citricos so much. We ate there on our last trip in January 07 (our first trip to WDW as adults) and absolutely loved it. Our waiter, Bruce, was excellent and very personable, and the food was terrific. In fact, out of the 5 dinners we had on our trip (the others at Kona Cafe, Le Cellier, California Grill, and Boma), Citricos is the only restaurant that we have definite plans to return to.
I actually didn't care much for the arancini, but it was the only part of the meal we didn't love. My wife, who was pregnant at the time, didn't have much of an appetite for our whole trip, but she said her roast chicken was the best chicken she'd ever had. I had ribeye with creme brulee for desert, both of which were great. And yes, I was surprised at how good the coffee was; I'd never had coffee from a French press. I agree with Kevin that the restaurant isn't overly stuffy or fussy, but still very beautiful.
Great review, Kevin. I'm glad to hear they're keeping the level of quality up.
