Kevin, would you post a picture...

Very cool pins!

I have a little 7 year old who can't wait to get the Toy Story vinylmations!

Ahem. I am not 7. I'm almost 30.

I love looking at pin displays! Those are all amazing! I only have a few and they are on black cross stitch material on an embroidery hoop. I don't trade them and I don't wear them to the parks. I'm a preschool teacher and I have a lot of fun wearing them to work on my whistle lanyard. I change them around depending on color or letter we are learning that week. The kids always love to look at them. :goodvibes

Disneyana as a teaching tool, loves it!

That's what I did with mine as well.

Mine are in a bag or laying on a desk in the Disney room. I want to be more creative with them. I'm starting to get ideas from looking at other peoples ideas.

Thank you OP for asking, and thank you so much Kevin for sharing the photo! I love the D logo, too. That is a beautiful display!

Everyone has such cool framed collections! Oh, I am just going to get sucked in, I know it. So far, I'm just planning to get a resort pin for where we are staying each time we go, and definitely want a MVMCP pin for my first time going this December.

Kevin, your framed pins are so cool! What an awesome collection and I love how you have displayed them. They're something to treasure! Enjoy them!

Wow, I've been collecting pins for a decade (but haven't actively done a lot of buying or trading for the last couple years though) and haven't done such great framed pin sets.

I'm really impressed by the creativity. I have no creative bones in my body. I'm not sure how I'm doing a fish entender, even. Good thing I have 5 months to worry about it.

That's an amazing display, Kevin! Congratulations. Just one question, were those pins available to the general public, or were they actually owned by cast members and used during their jobs at WDW?

All of the pins in the frame are actual Cast Member pins.

None were available to the public for purchase.

:) I had a dream last night that I bought Kevin's elusive pin and taunted him by posting pictures of the pin/s with the various Apple products like the iPhone while eating a bagel with lox. :rotfl:I don't even own an Apple gadget/electronic goodies yet. I did go to the Apple site to look at the iTouch and iPad.

:surfweb: Too much time on the boards...ya think?

Kevin,
That's a great way to display pins!
Thanks for sharing the idea.

WOW...I have many plastic buckets FULL of pins that I've done nothing with
Thanks to all of you who have given me a fantastic idea to help me enjoy my pin collection and get some of it out of the darn buckets :goodvibes

Have you guys seen the new "Then and Now" pins? I am not normally a pin collector but I think these are soooo cool! There are a couple online, are there more out there at the pin stations?

Where did you get your frame Charlotte? I think I should display some of ours too.

Jeff, I love the way you've themed them they look so professional :thumbsup2

And Kevin, wow that set is awesome :goodvibes Did it take you long to collect them? (sorry haven't listened to the podcast yet!)

Can I ask, do you have frames with glass or are these uncovered?

I have this frame

I think I will probably fill the frame with the UK store cast member pins, since I'm only 1 short now. But will have to find a nice way to decorate them.

Gorgeous famed pin sets, everyone. Kevin, that vest and pin collection is gorgeous - no wonder you'd never open it for any pin beyond the elusive one! It's perfect as is. :)

Kevin, that is a beautiful collection! Truly amazing! I'm jealous!
