Kevin Jonas: Alcohol has changed everything at Disneyland! (from news article)

Didn't Alex Morgan have a very public incident?
I don't even know who that is!

Still, one person having an incident doesn't constitute everything changing at DL due to alcohol.

... just googled, it was at Epcot. Which now makes me even more confused as to why it relates to Kevin Jonas' stance. :rotfl:

Got a BIT confused because there was mention of alcohol at WDW.

where is there a "bar" at Epcot?
seriously who can afford to get drunk in DL/DW

Not by my personal experience. The only places you can drink at DL is Blue Bayou, Oga's, and Club 33. I have never witnessed drunken escapades in Disneyland, nor DCA for that matter.
At DL, though, it's super easy to drink at DCA, Downtown Disney, Trader Sam's, etc. and then walk to Disneyland.

Didn't read the article so don't know where she was at but - there is a walk up bar at Spice Road Tables, LaCava and a lounge at Space 220 (or whatever the number is).

Oh most definitely. But I was reading it as if he was talking about the most recent changes to alcohol pertaining to Oga’s and Blue Bayou. (Club 33 always had it, but too elite for the vast majority of us.) You could easily get alcohol at DCA, resorts, and Downtown Disney for years - before Jonas could drink.

I still don’t think it has ruined the experience. But that’s just me 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Especially since the drinks are pre mixed now. So are the drinks at Oga's in HS.
Yeah, La Cava has really gone downhill in recent years. It used to be fantastic, now it's all pre-mixed and why do they have to throw Ancho Reyes in everything? For a while there they were randomly putting whiskey in the margaritas, too. I miss the original wild passionfruit margarita.

Oga's has always been pre-mixed, at least, so it's not such a let down. As long as they keep the fuzzy tauntaun as-is, I'll keep going for the novelty and experience.

Yeah, Oga's always having pre mixed drinks is why I probably will never go there. I cannot pay those prices for a pre mixed drink. It's sad how La Cava has declined in quality but I partially blame that on it becoming more popular thanks to vloggers talking about it.

Kevin Jonas thinks alcohol has changed the culture at Disneyland.

The 35-year-old singer - who shot to fame as part of The Jonas Brothers and starred in Disney Channel hits such as 'Camp Rock' and 'Hannah Montana' in the late 2000s - tied the knot with Danielle Deleasa in 2009 and shortly after spent the night with her in an exclusive suite at the California theme park but has now claimed that everything has "changed" since alcohol started being sold at the attraction in 2012.

Speaking on UKTV show 'Lorraine', he said: "We had a special experience there so after we were married they were kind enough to let us stay at this place that was called the Dream Suite.

"Inside, it was pretty great. They shut it down at night and you are still in the property staying.

"You would come out your door and no one's there except you guys.

"But what it really comes down to is they've let people start to drink now in Disneyland and that has changed everything. "

Meanwhile, the 'Waffle House' hitmaker - who has daughters Alena, nine and six-year-old Valentina with Danielle - was joined by his brothers Joe, 33, and 30-year-old Nick in the interview and Nick explained that when he tied the knot with 'Love Again' actress Priyanka Chopra in 2018, he had "no expectations" for the big day because they had planned it over "such a long period of time" and that the whole event turned out to be "really special" in the end.

He said: "We planned it pretty quickly so we didn't have that stress of expectations over a long period of time of having something planned so everything was just a plus and it was really special. Such a special day."

If he sees alcohol as the boogeyman I think he must have his own issues with and around consuming alcohol.
