Sadder still is that 90% of the current members of this site probably have never even heard of him---

I looked it up. He played Arliss in Old Yeller, a movie I have on DVD and still watch from time to time.

He was in Toby Tyler ( I think) and also Swiss Family Robinson.

Vintage Disney, the like of which we'll probably never see again.
