We bought a mini Keurig with a travel case to bring with us but it's such a PITA to use we actually use the coffee makers they provide. But maybe that's just us.
The full size Keurigs are awesome but not sure what it would do to our MFs if they put them in all the villas.
I really don't care for Keurig/pod type machines at all. When wanting several cups for a group breakfast, they are slower than one large coffee pot, and rather than being able to sit around a table and relax, with the pot of coffee sitting where everyone can reach it...someone always has to get up and leave the table, stand at the counter, and wait on a refill.
I would argue that point with youI'd love to have a "coffee pod-off" with you one day. I bet I could get 10 cups brewed, if not faster, at least as fast as it takes one whole pot to brew.
And... everyone can have whatever they want, like flavored, decaf, regular, bold... etc.![]()
I'm a NO vote on the Keurig question preferring the traditional coffee pot. However, I'm clearly in the "bring your own' school for preferred kitchen appliances. I'm currently at VGC and enjoying the many appliances we brought: Vitamix, Omega 8005 Nutrician Center (juicer), rice cooker (steamer and other uses), electric kettle, etc. we've used them all this trip!
My Bunn makes 10 cups within 5 minutes.
