Keurig Machines - when and where to buy?

Hi, I am also looking at the Cuisinart one and the Breville Gourmet with Iced Beverage Function (in warm weather I am an ICE coffe addict ) If anyone has either of these and would like to offer a review?? Thanks, Joan

I have become the super iced coffee maker with my Keurig, if I do say so myself. I have the B70 aka Platnium. you can make iced coffee with alot of the models. Depending on your own tastes, depends on the drop size of the water & what cup you use.

I did some major comparison shopping last year and by far the best deal was from Sams Club. It was the B66 with My K Cup and 60 pods. It was $120.

I looked at BBB with it being on sale and with the 20% coupon, with it being on sale at Kohls and with a coupon, Walmart and Amazon. At the time that I was looking, QVC did not have one.

I love my Keurig. I have the thing so you can refill using your own coffee, but it leaks water and it made horrible coffee, I read on the budget board about k cup covers they sell on ebay.
You cut the cover off your used k cup fill with your own coffee put the cap. If you want to save money on coffee, these things work great.

One of my friends has the Cuisinart Keurig. He said it has a 3 year warranty while the others are only 1 year. He loves it. It has a bigger water tank too but is smaller than the Platinum B70-the next model down. They both have an ice coffee setting.

Joan, I just read a thread on the Cuisinart over at singleservecoffee.com and it sounds like they had pump issues early on and pulled them from the market for a while. They're back on the market obviously, so I'd assume the issues are resolved, but I would think that if you would buy one you'd want to look at the manufacture date and make sure it is recent and not last spring.

I'm leaning toward the Special Edition pack at BJ's with my $10 off coupon at this point, which I understand is the B60 brewer.
