I bought cafe' moka flavor for my keurig from Bed Bath & Beyond. Well I don't like it~it taste awful so my question is if it can be returned. (2 are missing since we both tried it)

I doubt it.
In the future, try bigcatcoffees.com they'll send samples with your order, and you can mix and match k-cups.

thanks for the quick reply. I will try bigcatcoffees.com thanks again

You can also try calling the manufacturer of those k-cups and giving them the feedback that you don't care for them. They might send you something different.

I'm suffering through a box of "Donut Shop Coffee" purchased at BBB. Yech. Thought it would taste like Dunkin' Donuts coffee but it doesn't. Thought you'd like to know another flavor to put on your do not buy list.

We love Donut Shop Coffee (The one by Coffee People)! It is a nice mild breakfast coffee, although I am getting used to stronger types. (It doesn't taste like Dunkin Donuts coffee, you are right.)

We don't like Donut Shop either! We think it is really strong and bit bitter. Granted we like lighter roasts and weaker coffee...but I definitely would not call it mild! I work at BB&B PT and that coffee is one of the most popular or even the most popular blend we carry so lots of people really love it....just not for us!

To the OP, I honestly don't know if they will take it back as I usually don't work at the return/customer service area. It is worth a try though. You can also save it to trade with others for flavors you do like. I actually have traded quite a few cups with friends/family to sample some of the flavors they own and they can sample some of the ones we have.

Maybe y'all need to start a K-Cup swap here on the DIS? :rotfl2:

I don't have one, but I want one! I would just use the refillable K-cup and fill it w/ my regular coffee. Way cheaper, and I know I'd like it.

There's a Yahoo group that does swaps. No one wants my boxes of extra bold varieties though. The group is AWESOME for discounts and reviews of websites.

I only like the flavered kinds.

Wonder if the mods would let us do a swap here...

Another great spot for kcups is greatcoffee.com I ordered coffee at 4pm on a Monday and it was delivered to my doorstep by 10 am TUES!~!! if you buy 6 boxes you get free shipping...

Just had to chime in and say we love ours too! I admit, when my wife first brought up the idea of buying a "1 cup coffe maker", I was like, huh? Made no sense to me.

Well, after my first cup, I was sold, LOL. We have had the thing for quite a few months now, and it's the only coffee we brew at home anymore. I usually wait until BBB has a 20% off entire purchase day, or take a bunch of their coupons in.

For reference, our two favorites are the dark magic, and the sumatra. Yeah, both dark, bold and bitter, but definitely favorites! (And yeah, the wife drinks is black too)!

We just ordered the Keurig on QVC this past weekend, for my dh's christmas present, it came with the sampler, plus green mountain and I can't remember who else, total of 48 cups, but not a lot of flavored ones, that I could tell, which is what dh usually drinks, what are the best ones, those of you who drink flavored coffee?

personal taste accounts for a lot! but here are my favs:

gloria jeans butter toffee
green mountain rainforest nut
green mountain wild blueberry
green mountain spicy eggnog (just found this one! so yummy)
van houtte creme brulee

So far my favorite flavoreds (all I drink) are:

Gloria Jean Butter Toffee
Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream
Donut House Cinnamon Roll
Green Mountain Gingerbread (seasonal)
Green Mountain Golden French Toast (seasonal- this is to die for)
Green Mountain Wild Blueberry
Gloria Jean French Vanilla Supreme

oooooh yes! i forgot to say how much I loved the french toast one!!

Those sound great! I will share the list, as these all (except maybe the blueberry) sound like ones he would love. Has anyone had the holiday peppermint mocha? He does drink those at Starbucks, so didn't know how the k cups compare.

Our favorite flavors

Timothy's German Chocolate Cake
Gloria jeans French Vanilla Supreme (sooo good)
Pumpkin spice (seasonal)
I like hazelnut but DH won't touch it

Personally we don't like the butter toffee that others have mentioned - we think it takes like popcorn....

Also - we guy hot chocolate kcups and make our own mocha's at home with various bold coffees....so good

I've only been to the BBB to buy Kcups once so far but they had a bunch of little bins where you could buy one Kcup for .79. I will do that next time I go alone, without the 4yr old telling me how much he wants the Bendaroos they have! I bought the big box of Holiday flavors by Green Mountain (spicy eggnog, holiday blend, golden french toast and gingerbread) and loved all the flavors. I have figured out I don't like any of the Gloria Jeans (hazelnut and butter toffee) but my dh will drink them and the extra bold ones! The green mountain flavored ones I do like though. Timothy's decaff is ok too. My favorite though is Green Mountain colombian fair trade select. I have to find the Timothy's german choc cake and Van houtte creme brulee (their french vanilla is good) they sound wonderful!

Just wanted to let OP know that BBB has a pretty good return policy. I work there part time and you should see the stuff that we take back. It wouldnt hurt to call and ask. I have not had someone return an opened box but im pretty sure that we would take it back.
